In June 2018, we completely refreshed the first email zulily members receive. The new design by Leah Sacks is a bright, crisp improvement over the dated email we’d been sending, while the copy emulates two friends getting to know each other over a cup of coffee.

In March 2018, we launched a series of emails to remind zulily members that they have store credit remaining. One version was for those with credit that never expires, the other two were expiring credit reminders. We saw great pick-up in store credit spending after the emails launched. Due to the way zulily ships products, there are sometimes opportunities for customers to add to their order and get free shipping when all their items are consolidated. This June 2018 email relaunch was designed to communicate this free-shipping opportunity while providing a little insight into why shoppers were receiving that offer. Designed by Janet Maples.
